Role

 

The objective of this consultancy is to provide specialized, HQ-based procurement support services through the delivery of defined outputs related to procurement processes, tendering activities, and procurement documentation, under the overall coordination of the Procurement Specialist.

 

The duty station for this consultancy is GCF Headquarters. The Consultant is expected to work on-site during normal business hours. The level of effort shall be defined in days and recorded on a daily basis in accordance with HQ-based consultancy requirements.

 

The Fund is seeking to engage a  Procurement Consultant to support its headquarters team in Songdo, Republic of Korea, for an initial period of Six (6) months, with a possible extension.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

Under the supervision of the Procurement Specialist, the Procurement Consultant shall perform tasks which include but are not limited to the following:

 

•  The review and finalization of procurement request documentation.

•  The preparation of tender documentation packages for issuance.

•  The compiling and finalization of evaluation documentation.

•  The preparation of procurement committee documentation packages.

•  The preparation of procurement orders and supporting documentation.

•  The filing and organization of procurement tracking records.

 

Required experience and qualifications

 

•  University degree. 

•  Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience providing procurement services in an institutional or corporate environment.

•  Knowledge of procurement processes, tendering procedures, and documentation requirements.

•  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

•  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

•  Proficiency in standard office software applications.

•  Native Korean and fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
